The problem for me is how to avoid this question, central to the theme of right, regarding sovereignty and the obedience of individual subjects in order that I may substitute the problem of domination and subjugation for that of sovereignty and obedience. 28 That Foucault sought to think beyond the limits of the present attests to his desire to critique the juridical as such.
